Sutherland blows dick. They get paid thousands by companies to hire people at $8 an hour with no experience non so ever. It reminds me of that monkey commercial I saw on TV for CareerBuilder. I worked there for two weeks and I could not handle the stupidity and the lack of professionalism of that company. The only way they survive is because they pay their employers jack shit.

I know the company is very strict when it comes to the service of their employees...some of the accounts doesnt allow their agents to have some pen and papers in their station...its a major offense for termination...why is office depot account is not that strict? just wondering why some agent uses their clients credit cards to get some money? send it thru western union...in one click they'll have the money...wow...instant money huh?!? why such thing happens in that account? calling the attention of the supervisors and manager of the office depot...for further information, just email me in my e add...i have lots of thing to tell u guys...i'll tell u every detail...

To Whom It May Concern:
I have been a loyal employee at Sutherland Global Services for a very long time and was extremely offended by an email that was sent out by a telus supervisor which also encourages the receivers to pass it along to all the tax payers they know. The email is attached. I have omitted the Sent To only because I feel the receivers for the most part are innocent with the exception of a few Telus Management(Supervisors, QA, and Trainers). I have heard while standing outside for a cigarette that most of these (the front line telus management team) found this email to be very funny and in their words true. I for one found it extremely racist. It did singled out one race in particular but for me I felt that they could have substituted this race for any other minority race and it would still have the same biting sting that it carries.
It berates, stereotypes and belittles Canadians … it preys upon new comers and anyone who falls into a minority status. As a Canadian citizen I find this humiliating and very upsetting. This is 2008 not 1808! But when this type of prejudices is found in modern day work places and telus management doesn’t find it insulting but encourages you to pass it along! Where is the moral values as a multicultural society? Are we only concern when it affects us directly? What are we teaching our kids? Where do we draw the line?
It was out circulating for almost a week then all of a sudden sutherland management has a problem with this. The rumor is that someone else found this insulting as well and reported it to upper management and only then did management take any action. In fact people were told that if they had read this email they didn’t and those who hadn’t seen it were to delete it. Some people were worried they might lose their jobs over this email. Front line management who were directly involved were told to do damage control and they had to delete it!
It was sent to 69 people that I counted on the list who knows if it was blind carbon copied to anyone else! 69 people had 5-6 days to send this to everyone on their lists! And then they could send it to everyone on their lists! Etc…. You get the idea. No one … and I mean no one apologized to the employees who received this email! No one stepped up and said ‘hey this isn’t a company policy, the individual who sent it these were her views and her views alone’. No one in telus management has taken responsibility for this. In fact I heard a rumor that this woman who sent it out and encouraged everyone to pass it along may have gotten fired but I have seen how sutherland management takes care of their own. She’ll be gone for a little while then mysteriously come back from some medical or stress leave. I have also heard that the whole management team feels that it was wrong for upper management to fire her over a silly email. I have also heard that they are looking for ways to fire the individual who reported this. You can hear a lot when you are standing outside by a dumpster when no one thinks you are listening or that you are of no importance to them.
So it seems to me that telus sutherland management didn’t have a problem with this email until someone who had some common sense and told them that they were in the wrong. What is wrong with the management?
I am absolutely disgusted with the people who are involved in this and they have lost my respect. However I’m sure they would not care because I’m not their type of Canadian considering I probably fall into the minority class. I AM CANADIAN and I feel that this email and the nature of this email is a slap in the face to all of us! You decide.

I dont know how you guys rate this company a good one! I have been a loyal employee to this company for like 2.5 yrs. first of all inspite of giving exceptional performance and getting certificates from this company my promotion have always been denied twice and i got a lousy Increment which I didnt liked it at all and they gave me a reason that there is no requirement..!!! I dont undestand that how come this company is earning so much of certificates & respect? sutherland lost HP cos one of the tenured employee abused his old customer as a frustration cos of the company stupid monitoring policy which was complained to the client & this is how they lost it. You go to any of the offices of sutherland india I assure you that no tenured indian CRE is gonna give you a positve feedback about this company. Everybody is complaining about the money which they are not getting paid inspite of working 9hrs and doing overtime by the commitment given by the mangement that would be paid in their next payout. I have so many friends who are eager to leave this company but they have thousands of rupees pending on this company and resigning means givin benefit to the company and u wont get a damn penny for what u did in the past? which you actually deserve. This company is cursed by thousands of employees for not paying them properly, givin growth which they actually deserve and also for not caring about their tenure employees & the beginning of their days of doom have just started after they lost HP which created 70% of the companys revenue! If anybodys reading this let me tell you that Indian constitution is very lax and employees cannot file lawsuit against this company as it will be waste of their time and money which they cant afford cos everybody has a family. If u still dont believe me then go to sutherland mumbai and ask any of the TENURED employee how this company is and they will tell you everything which will be enough to create a new testament-II ! Yes!Sutherland is a good company but only the recruitment office gets suck!!!!They hire people who do not deserve to work in their company. They also hire people that are closely related to them. That fucking Ry, shower, and joyce should be replaced because they don't deserve for the said position.

I am hoping that the head of the said company will work on this because it will affect the company's profile!!!!!!

This service is a SCAM! SGS Sutherland Global Services will register you for an annual service of $149.99 (pc repair, etc.) and then no longer be available. A telephone call will result in your being put on hold and ultimately a dropped connection. If you call again and ask to speak with a supervisor you will be put on hold and then disconnected. There is no service available at any of the following three numbers: 877-526-4466; 800-237-6483; and 800-304-4541.
